Tasting Notes
Very fine persistent bead. Straw coloured and vibrant fresh hue. Fruit aromas of pear flesh and grilled grapefruit are mixed with brioche and fresh baked sourdough. Light toasty elements and slight yoghurt notes add complexity and depth to the detail. The palate is creamy and textural with a delicate web of acidity interwoven throughout. Cream, yeast, granny smith apples and butter pastry flavours flow along before finishing with a preserved-lemon like tang. Flavorsome, complex and vibrant from start to finish.
Winemaker's Notes
Chardonnay made using traditional methods – bottle fermented and aged on yeast lees for 5+ years prior to disgorging with minimal dosage.
Vintage Notes
A warm dry early season with ideal flowering conditions has resulted in excellent crops and strong varietal flavours.

Halliday Wine Companion - 93pts
“Aromas of backed biscuit and freshly baked rye sourdough base, along with some lemon curd and orange blossom. Full flavoured, this has real drive through the middle palate before finishing savoury and dry.” – Philip Rich
The Real Review - 93pts
“A gently toasty bouquet, background nougat and the palate is rich and full, complex and savoury with good harmony of acidity and liqueuring, resulting in a balanced and more-ish finish. There’s a delicious combination of flavours and top drinkability. Very smart wine.” Huon Hooke
