The Vineyard Series matches specific varieties and sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.

Pale straw with a water white hue. Immediately, ripe stone fruit: nectarines and white peaches, then heady white florals, white pepper, praline, wet stones and a touch of flint. There's a roundness and depth here with those flavours. And a texture like peach skin, fuzzy, al dente phenolics providing a savoury texture before the citrus acidity tightens the line, bringing everything back into balance. Depth, richness and subtle complexity are the hallmarks.

This wine was sourced from the north facing Hazeldene Vineyard, sited in the red volcanic soils of Gladysdale.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine: handpicking and whole bunch pressing directly into 500 litre French oak puncheons for a natural fermentation followed by 10 months maturing on lees.

A long, late and cool growing season with very low crops delivering wines with exceptional flavour, freshness and balance.
