The Vineyard Series matches specific varieties and sites to give you outstanding examples of single vineyard wines.

Pale straw, vivid light-yellow hue. Aromas of freshly zested limes give way to a buzzing energy of flint, white flowers and spices. Intense grapefruit, blood orange and other exotic fruits are also present on the nose, together with suggestions of honeysuckle and mint fudge, all in perfect balance. On the palate, an explosion of energetic white and yellow fruits opens the tasting experience. Grapefruit flavours are carried along a glass-like rod of tension, complemented by citrus pith and white peach, all packaged up in a nervy ball of energy. The future is strong for this chardonnay.

This wine was sourced from the north facing Henk Vineyard, sited in the red volcanic soils of Woori Yallock.

A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine: handpicking and whole bunch pressing directly into 500 litre French oak puncheons for a natural fermentation followed by 14 months maturing on lees.

A vintage defined by cool, wet conditions, low crops and harvesting late into autumn. The resulting wines have great depth of flavour and vibrant, balanced acidities.
