“Medium-deep red-purple colour; intense and bright spice aromas, nutty/smoky barrel and foresty fruit aromas combine to give a complex and savoury bouquet, the same flavours on palate where it’s full and rich, generous and sustained, the flavours extending long through the aftertaste. “A vibrant but light red in the glass with floral aromatics of red cherry with beautifully filamented spice and touch of stem. Medium bodied with expressive fruit that takes on a touch of savoury flare and oak derived richness. The fruit is so pure and build with impact all whilst holding a savoury backdrop. Touch of rose petal as an embellishment to finish. These 2021’s from Oakridge are exceptional.” – Patrick Eckel
